Trials & Tribulations

Image
"Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory." - Ephesians 3:13 The excitement was palpable in the car, Robert looked more relaxed, the kids straining against the carseat straps when they heard Daddy mention the park and me silently thanking the Lord for the job he would provide for my husband.  Do you thank the Lord for supplying your needs even though he hasn't done so just quite yet? Do you thank him for whatever HIS answer may be before HE gives it? If we love HIM then we trust HIM and if we trust in HIM then we know HE WILL supply all of our needs. So by thanking HIM for supplying those needs as HE sees fit shows HIM we are trusting in HIM, we are not worrying (or doing are best not to anyway, I mean seriously we're human and prone to worrying so trying not to worry takes a lot of practice of which I'm still practicing on 😜) that HE won't answer as HE WILL when the time is right, when those circumstances are rig...

On a Wing and a Prayer

"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer." - Romans 12:12 All 3 kids loaded, trunk and backseat of our 2001 Toyota Camry packed to the hilt with camping gear, food for Robert as well as winter clothes, winter gear and all his tools in case he got a job right away. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18 Our First Anniversary-December 2009 To say I was flummoxed didn't even begin to cover my state of shock the day my husband came home from his Chiropractic appointment to tell me he wanted to quit his job with the I.B.E.W and go back to school full time to finish up his Doctorates for Chiropractic! I was dumbfounded, mouth hanging wide open, eyes glazed over, heart palpitating right out of my chest and the only thing I could think to say was, "I'm sorry, what now?" He began to explain to me how he'd been talking with his Chiropractor and how she has inspired him to go back and finish up his Doctorates and his reasons for doing so. After Robert graduated high school in 1996 he had enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa http://www.palmer.edu/ . He'd been perusing h...
